3 Steps to Luscious Lips

21:03

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!

This week I am bringing to you three products that I have been using to keep my lips in good condition this winter! Recently my lips have been so dry and I feel like no matter how much water I am drinking it has no effect on the condition of my lips. So I decided to take things into my own hands and have found the perfect routine to getting them looking fab. Lips are an important thing to me as when you are talking this can be one of the first things people see, so having them in good condition is a must.

STEP 1: Use an overnight mask such as *Dermalogica Nightly Lip Treatment (£42.75)

Using this lip treatment has really helped to get my lips off to a great start in the morning. It targets signs of ages such as fine lines and wrinkles, as well as moisturising which leaves your lips looking supple and smooth. It contains Gentian Extract as well as Sesame Seed extract and Shea butter which all work together to give you a great base to start with. The metal tip feels lovely across the lips and also gives your lips a little massage when applying. There is no need to be neat with application, I often go over the lip line so the product targets the whole area. This is something that can be used daily.

Step 2 : Use a lip scrub such as this strawberry flavoured one from Pura Cosmetics (£4.99).

I bought this one from the This Morning Live event in the summer and I have been using it so much over the Winter! You simply dampen your fingers, dip them in and rub across your lips, then wipe away any excess. This exfoliates them, gets rid of all the dead skin and gives them such a lovely pink flush. It also tastes delicious but I don't recommend eating too much! I actually got it in a gift set with the bubblegum lip balm which I also recommend!

Step 3: Finally apply a lip mask such as the *Bubu skincare You Pucker Lip mask (£5)

Lip masks offer an immediate solution to dry lips. This one is packed with key ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid and botox which really nourish and hydrate the lip area. Added to this is the technology within the mask itself, it specifically reacts to the skin's temperature to maximise penetration of ingredients into the skin. This particular mask also works really well as a primer before applying any lipstick and makes it last even longer. If your lips are in need of immediate attention the You Pucker mask will have them sorted in 10 minutes.

Using these three products will ensure your lips are left looking healthy and plump through the winter season! Tell me your must have lip products in the comments below!
