Wedding Make-up look

17:30

Hey Everyone,

As wedding season is in full flow I thought I would do a wedding make-up look perfect for a registry or church wedding. This look is quite natural and is designed to give you radiance and a glow and let your natural beauty shine through on your big day. You may have seen my sneak peek on snapchat (aminaali_mua) and as promised here are the full product details. As a qualified make-up artist this is a make-up look I love to do on clients to give them that English-rose feel. However it is quite a versatile look that can be toned up for a more dramatic effect or down for a very simple make-up. It is even perfect for bridesmaids or even if you're just a wedding guest.

To start I have to emphasise getting your skin ready for your big day is very important! Start drinking lots of water. Go for a facial a few times in the weeks before your wedding. Start applying those eye creams and make sure you cleanse, tone and moisturise. Having naturally glowing skin will give you a radiant look without the effort.

Before I began, I cleansed, toned and moisturised. I then applied NYX Photo-finish primer and MAC Prep & Prime skin base visage. Using two primers may seem a bit over the top, but I used NYX for the smoothness and MAC for the luminescence. Once this was applied, I also used  MAC Strobe cream to give an extra highlight around the cheekbone. When foundation is applied on top it gives a 'glow from within' kind of look. I then applied NYX Peach colour corrector under the eyes. Next I applied MAC Face and Body in 'C5' to the face using a beauty sponge and gently bounced the sponge over my skin. This is a very lightweight, water based foundation with very sheer coverage. It is perfect for giving a dewy sheen to the skin and just enhances the skin. However if you have problem skin then you may want to go for a higher coverage foundation like MAC Studio Fix or Pro-longwear.  I set under the eye with Ben Nye 'Banana' powder and over the face with MAC Prep & Prime translucent powder.

For brows I used Benefit 'goof proof' Pencil in '5'. Now for the eyes I applied Kiko eye base primer with my fingers and then applied Bellapierre pigment in 'Champagne' to the lid. with a blending brush I then blended through the crease with MAC 'Aromatic' and then with a  pointed crease brush applied MAC 'Don't Tell' through the crease. On the inner crease and brow bone I applied MAC 'vanilla' pigment. Next I applied a thin line of liquid liner using Loreal Super liner perfect slim in 'Black'. To give more of a natural and softer look I applied Eylure Pro lash individuals, which are individual cluster lashes rather than a strip lash.

On the cheeks I used Chanel Joues Contraste in 'Pink Explosion'  a slightly darker colour to contour the hollows of my cheeks. On the lips, Dior 'Rouge Dior Nude 169'.   I highlighted with my favourite Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm cosmetics.

I hope you like the final look and would love to hear your opinion. Comment down below.
