Heaven Skincare Review

Hi Everyone!

Since the #BloggerTikiParty, where I was introduced to Heaven, by Deborah Mitchell I have been using some of the products offered in the skincare range. I had never heard of this brand before, which is surprising seeing how they are celebrating their 21st Birthday as a company this month! But I was really impressed when I saw what they had to offer. From packaging to the product itself I have been blown away and been using the products daily.

I had been after a new cleanser for a while so when I received the Hydro Cleansing Milk (£28, 150ml) I put it straight to the test. I have used it in a variety of ways. As a make-up remover, cleanser and moisturiser! The pump itself is great as one push pumps out the perfect amount to cover your whole face. So you know it is a very well thought out product. I love the scent of Lavender that has been given to the cleanser as I use it in the evening before I go to bed so it gets me relaxed and ready to sleep. The great thing about it is that it does the job! I was interested in this product specifically because it targets oily skin. Although my skin is combination, I found that my T-Zone area was getting very oily. Despite having used this product for only 3 weeks, I have noticed a reduction already! This is 100% my new cleanser and once it has finished I will definitely be purchasing another.

I was also given the Silk Skin BeeBee Cream in 'Honey' (£37, 30ml) which contains their star ingredient 'ABEETOXIN', aka actual bee venom! It also contains Hyaluronic acid and silk which are fab for the skin, and leaves it feeling super smooth. It is anti-ageing, firming and helps spots. This 'BeeBee' cream acts as a tinted moisturiser but with added benefits of a skincare product so you don't have to feel guilty whilst wearing your make-up! I think it's great for those days where you don't want to put a whole face of make-up on as there isn't much colour pay off. I have been wearing it on those days where I want to give my skin a rest. Alternatively it also makes a great primer. The only down side is that the Bee Bee Cream doesn't have the gorgeous scent some of the other Heaven products have which I missed, however it is made up by the fact that I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and I just love the way the pump twists up!

A great way to try the products, without committing, is by purchasing the SOS (Save Our Skin) kit (£5.50). It is meant as a travel companion for those weekends away or when going abroad and contains five sachets to cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturise as well as a mask. A good way to sample, if you don't want to invest upfront.

Overall I can say I am genuinely interested and would purchase products from Heaven again.  The products are award winning and speak for themselves. I  already have my eye on their Peppermint Clarifying Hydrogel (£19, 30ml) to use as a toner after cleansing. I have only been using the products for a few weeks but they have become some of my favourite skincare products! Have you ever tried Heaven skincare? What is your current skincare routine?

Amina xx
